A home built on dignity and care.
A lot goes into a good nursing home — comfortable surroundings, skilled nursing, and the small daily kindnesses that are easy to overlook. We work at getting all of it right, so the care here feels dignified, personal and genuinely warm.
Skilled hands for complex needs.
Our nurses are experienced in the things that worry families most — complex conditions, dementia, and the kind of challenging behaviour that takes real patience and skill to manage well.
We work hand in hand with GPs, outside specialists and — most importantly — families, so the care plan fits the person, rather than the person having to fit the plan.
Our own team, here around the clock.
Our dedicated team of nurses and care professionals provides compassionate, expert care for older adults, 24 hours a day — including specialist support for those living with dementia or experiencing challenging behaviours.
Whether you're looking for long-term care, short-term respite or day visits to our welcoming day centre, you can count on a skilled and consistent team. Because our carers are our own permanent staff, the familiar faces your relative comes to know are the same ones looking after them, day in and day out.
Rooms that feel like home.
There's room for up to 35 residents, in 33 individual bedrooms. Each one has its own en-suite, a nurse-call system, a digital TV and DVD, and Wi-Fi — the comforts that make a room easy to settle into. A lift serves every floor, and we keep a full range of lifting equipment on hand, so safety and dignity are never a worry.
- Approved to expand. An upcoming extension will add new bedrooms and refreshed living spaces — more room for comfort, connection and care.
Everything taken care of.
We look after the everyday things so families don't have to — all laundry and ironing is done on-site. And a steady stream of visiting specialists comes to the home, so residents rarely need to travel for appointments: opticians, podiatrists, physiotherapists, speech and occupational therapists, reflexologists, and a hairdresser.
Ministers of different faiths visit regularly for those who'd like them, and we'll gladly arrange other healthcare visits on request. Our local GP surgeries look after residents too, with a doctor in every week and extra appointments whenever they're needed.
Freshly cooked, around the clock.
Every meal is cooked fresh on-site by our own chefs — proper home-cooked food with real flavour. And there's always something good to eat, day or night, not only at set mealtimes.
Whatever someone's dietary needs, our kitchen and nursing teams plan around them together. Residents can eat in the dining rooms or in their own room, whichever they prefer — and with a little notice, we'll happily lay on a meal for visiting family too. There's also a refreshment area open all the time: a cosy corner to sit with a cup of tea together.
Days worth looking forward to.
Our Activities Coordinator builds the week around what residents actually enjoy — reminiscence sessions, flower arranging, dancing, bowling and plenty more besides.
Local musicians come in for live performances, and a good sing-along never goes amiss. We like to get out and about, too — trips to the garden centre, the park or the pub, and longer days out in our own minibus.
- Music & entertainment from local performers, plus sing-alongs everyone can join.
- Outings to garden centres, parks and pubs in our own minibus.
- Celebrations throughout the year, with our annual Christmas party a real highlight.
We'd love to show you around.
